US Seals did this in Vietnam [with M60s]. I think it's more correct to say the Predator backpack was trying to replicate those ![]() |

A solider still has to hump it, and until they get power supplies figured out for untethered exo-suits, it's not worth the trouble. |

Having experience with DARPA and military projects, when they do a cost/benefit analysis and find out it's cheaper to just pay a few more guys to hump gear, they're going to mothball exosuits until the power supplies are far better. |
