The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So I'm trying to find the right cable for the Sentry Gun battery; the one that goes from the battery to the Sentry.

Having a really hard time trying to find the right cable.
I have looked at all sorts of cables from telephone & guitars up to old earphones but nothing until now.

I would be so happy if someone here knows.

Many thanks in advance.

Neil

The reference pics (those behind the scenes stills) make it look like a regular coiled cable.

Something like this?

It is a neutrix connector. I assume that they placed the wires in a split loom adapter. 1/2" by the looks of things. Factor in that split loom cables were a mainstay of the alien film franchise.

Maybe try looking for handset or base unit cables for PRC 25 [or PRC 77] / PRC 9 radios ...

Hi Neil,
the cord itself is an of the shelf coiled cord. The connectors are Neutrik NCLNEMC male connectors ( https://www.njuskalo.hr/glazbena-oprema/neutrik-nc-lne-frc-xlr-oglas-25834442 ). The connector on the batty side was extended with a metal tube so that the end sticks out from the lit of the battery.
The Neutrik connectors are not produced anymore, but turn up on ebay from time to time.

Cheers
Stefan

Thanks guys for all your help. The battery itself is basically finished, it's all just fine tuning now.
