After seeing SimonT's thread about getting hold of a second hand Grid laptop it occured to me that I might be able to scratch build a static replica from plasticard.
First though I've made a prototype out of cardboard before I move onto spending any money.
I plan on buying two PC keyboards to use for the parts for the keyboard and assorted connectors for the rear. I would like to confirm two things, firstly should the computer have a diskette drive on the side? Also I want to check the connectors I need on the back. From what I have found so far I need the following: 1 rocker switch, 1 IEC C14 power socket, 1 fuse holder (scratch build), 1 voltage selector switch (scratch build), 1 15 pin (3x5) D-type, 2 4-pin modular sockets, 1 24 pin GPIB. Is this the correct set of connectors?
