But not much on why the execs stomped on the story, and we're left with the steaming piles of turd that are Prometheus and Covenant, with Scott's name forever pissed all over by these decisions. |

Well said! I always back up Ridley Scott when I'm discussing those movies with people. He knows what hes doing but even he is not exempt from the fuckening of execs. If he had had his freedom those could have been cool movies I bet. The amount of detail in the sets and props and potential depth of the story show. He should have had complete control and the movies should have been as long as the lord of the rings movies. |
