Post subject:  Aliens video game news - New MMO shooter in the works
I'm not going to hold my breath on whether it'll be any good or not after the Aliens: Colonial Marines debacle, but it's something at least. Also there's a new mobile game coming out. Not holding my breath there either. Then again despite being a lifelong gamer, I rarely ever play mobile games, so I don't really have any expectations there.

I don't play video games besides Tetris on my old GameBoy Advance.

Alien: CM almost had me get a console but it never happened.

What was wrong with the game?

Personally I'm not a fan of online games, principally because there's always someone who kills you within a few seconds of spawning, making it impossible to get anywhere or see and do anything at all.

Various nitpicks over the story, items, props, gameplay, AI behaviour, etc.
The biggest one was that there's one teeny tiny typo in the code that leads to very buggy behaviour from the aliens. I posted a fix about it somewhere around here... it's literally just opening the .ini file, deleting an errant comma, save & close. Job done.

Yeah, that happens when you start getting old. :P
That's why I favour online co-op games, because at least then the gamer whizz kids are on your team!!

Holy crap! Just watched a YT video about the EZflash card. Dang! Thanks!

Xbox consoles are a dime a dozen at the Goodwill down the street. Maybe I'll pick one up to fiddle with. I'd love to try Colonial Marines and Transfomers: Devastation.
