The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Recently acquired a Motion Tracker (thanks to Gary Pusey/Corsasri).

Question is, what to store it in?

Don't really want this thing rattling round loose in my kit box where it might get damaged. Particularly after how much I paid for it.

This is something I've been thinking about as well for my tracker. I thought it would be easy enough to source a foam lined equipment case but I can only find sizes that fit into two ranges - slightly too small or far too large.

An idea has suddenly hit me. The "Really Useful" brand of storage boxes includes a 35 litre size that has internal dimensions of 370x310x280 mm. That should be big enough for the tracker if you line it with foam yourself. I've found them at about £16 each, so much cheaper than equipment cases.

for transport it fits perfectly in a 6 gallon food bucket with a gamma seal lid. Just add padding and good to go. And water tight to boot...
