it wouldn't surprise me if it would be heavy on the secret (evil) weyland yutani bio weapons agenda theme. That might build nicely I guess for episode pacing. I'd love to see the colonist/marine stories played out or something from the comics like earth war or labyrinth.

Have they reached the stage of cancelling shows before they even start, yet?

Yeah, after the somewhat pissy mess that was AlienCubed, a semi-dire A:Res and two tosh piles of AVP, coupled with the string of lacklustre superhero and Action-Femme shows currently on TV, I have absolutely no faith in an Aliens TV series...
People are still reeling from the news that they're remaking Charmed (as if the original wasn't bad enough), so I assume we'd have to endure a Buffy remake before we even got to Aliens.

Ttaskmaster, I have to agree with you...BUT....I'd be willing to chance having it cut short just to have the chance to see it.
