The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Post subject: Hero Pulse Rifle Build Shroud Screw Tube
PostPosted: Thu Sep 20, 2018 7:08 pm
I am in the process of building another pulse rifle. I purchased a WE gas blowback Thompson M1A1, and a APS CAM 870. I have a Matsucorps aluminumized shroud set. Ihave misplaced the screw tube and screws that connect the two shroud halves together. I've been to several hardware stores and can't seem to find the parts. Does anyone know where I can get the screw tubes and screws?

Have you tried a "true value" or 'mom and pop' style hardware store? In my experience they have a lot more stuff in stock for obscure hardware than the 'big box' chain places.

Also, you may end up needing to buy a 10 pack of them, but I'm sure you can find them online. I have found unusual hardware on ebay and amazon.

Interested in hearing your impressions of the WE Thompson.

I've seen them advertised but most of the reviews I am seeing are negative - I'd like to hear more about this gun.

Knoxville Bolt and Screw is another. You will need the thread pitch (usually fine or coarse sometimes there are some odd ball sizes), shaft length, whether metric or american, shaft length.
