The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

It's a "Pipe access door" (No. 135.3) made by "Terrain".
You can find it on page 9 of the Terrain Drainage Price List which in turn can be found at the bottom of this page:
http://www.polypipe.com/terrain-pvc-soil-waste-0

Cheers,
Stefan

PS: Over the years they modified the design slightly. So the current version isn't 100% screen acurate.

Thanks Stefan! I was marvelling at how you were able to identify such an odd piece on the sentry gun, so it's thanks to you that we've identified some of the pipes!

Out of curiosity, how DID you manage to identify the pipe access door? Are you in the plumbing/pipefitting trade?

Very cool!

Well, actually it was one of the easiest parts to find:
The sentry gun was on display in Leicester some years ago and the manufacturer as well as the part number are molded into the part.

Cheers,
Stefan
