| Post subject: | Soft Armor |
so i was curious as to what kinds of Soft body armor have we seen and what kinds of soft body armor would be acceptable in a costume. For example i have a suit of interceptor body from Evike i rock for airsoft i would like to use. |

The soft armor on screen was the smart gunners flack jacket. As for your own costume up to yourself just remember the more you go away from the onscreen armor the less likely anyone is going to k ow who you are supposed to be. |

I went to Dragon Con back in 2008 and even back then, unless we had an Alien with us, people would either ask us who we were, or were heard to say things like "hey, Starship Troopers!" etc. so I'd definitely agree with what Stew says. I concur, as a pilot I'm rocking the flak jacket too but unless I am with ground pounders or xenos most people don't get the pilot costume. It's just too generic. |
