The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just to give everyone a heads up. I know there are a lot of unhappy people regarding SD studios but just to give anyone who wants to take the chance his locators are being made again $260.00 plus shipping.

Spat works in resin. SD Studios typically does high end machined metal props, often with some simple electronics. They were trailblazers in the world of the 'hero' pulse rifle and still sell metal pulse components and accurate metal grenades on ebay. Their grenades are truly top of the line with spring plungers and brass primers and their locator tubes were "grail" items for many, as they were out of production for a long time.

Their name took a hit a few years ago when they failed to deliver on a "Men in Black" neuralyzer run which they already took payment for. There is a big "RPF" thread about it, their explanation, how it was handled, and who is still owed something that is still active years later. Lot of bad blood.

They have, to my knowledge, never failed to deliver on any aliens products and what they produce is excellent.
Whether you want to do business with them depends entirely on your opinion on their response to the neuralyzer situation

So basically deal with paypal and file claims that way if possible.

For what it is worth, I took the risk on the last run of these and there were no issues. Great communication, fast shipping and an awesome product.

I also bought one a year or so ago along with some pulse rifle parts. Shipped to the U.K no problems at all. Even refunded some if the shipping cost so not a bad word to say here.

I also got one [then], and love it.

His ebay feedback is positive.

I highly recommend them.

My only gripe was my second one came in black, not BB.

Wow I had no idea about that fiasco. I used to have an SD Studios pulse rifle... that was mostly or entirely made by Phil Steinschneider IIRC. Phil was great to deal with. The rifle was amazing. I had to sell it because I needed the money years ago. I still miss it.
