The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Don't remember where I got these, but I saved them at some point and I think they were from a website like you described.
They are not screen used, but are Terry English made

I saved these images too and from their file-names they look to be from Facebook.

I'll try to take some pics on the inside of my TE set at home. I have been meaning to document a 'new' thing Terry seems to be doing.

Not sure how long he has been doing it (clearly he wasn't doing it in the above pictures), but he elongated the webbing/elastic that used to just hold the center tab into the shoulder bells. Now it starts at one side of the bell, goes under the center tab, rivets to the other side of the bell, then continues on to connect to the same rivet that secures the fastex buckle connecting to the grenade strap. It all keeps the shoulder bell facing forward. Pretty nifty.

Hopefully that made sense. If not, maybe this will help. If not....I'll get inside pics this weekend!

I'm trying to figure out how they accomplished this in the movie. In most scenes the shoulder bells have a strong forward tilt.
Examining screen used sets, what's left of them, I see no indication of how they did this. Aside from that maybe the rear straps/elastic was longer and the bells were webbed farther forward. They all certainly seemed looser so maybe its all just hanging forward.
Terry uses nails for rivets right? though Id prefer to not do surgery on my set.
