What color and paint type did you use for this? And in all honesty of the omnibus volumes I have the berserkers were an awesome series. |

FYI, I found on my armor build Chicago screws from buckleguy.com were far better than pop rivets. You have to get them in packs from that site so you always have spares... I found that the screw design allowed for easier and better field repairs. Lowes and home depot sells chicago screws in their hardware section (you have to REALLY, REALLY look to find them.) They do not intermix with the buckle guy units. ::sigh:: I think I will crack open my omnibus volumes and maybe do a repaint as that color would go far better with my Joker/Harley theme. |

Brian, for a wash, I typically use black acrylic paint on a wet clot/paper towel. Then I wipe much of it off. That's what I did on my USCM armor (and my Halo ODST) and it worked out fine. I also clear coat before I add the acrylic, so if I mess up I can wipe it off before it sets permanently. |

So yeah, I goofed, I forgot to take a brillo pad to the paint before doing the black wash |

Appologies if I missed you explaining this but I thought you'd have gone with a more brownish colour for the chestplate? Always thought it looked more brown or tan in the comics. |

Heh, this is a funny story. According to a fellow board member who knows a lot about comics said that due to the printing process back then OD/OG tended to look the brown/mustard colors. This is why I went with green and red for my colors |

By any chance are you going to put the "shark mouth" on the front of your helmet like the one character had? |

Na, I was actually going to work on the face guard used by Teape, but make it removable so I don't suicide myself while wearing it in FL |

Are you going to sculpt and form it, or use something off the shelf? I have an M3 filter mask that is pretty close to that, but the actual filters are pretty large. |
