I also got the grenade straps finished,I just added the push buttons on.

Truly stunning Neil! I can see why they built the m3 armour over this concept armour. So much more work in this. Looking forward to more updates! |

Got all the plates fixed onto the helmet,but still a bit to be done like getting the IR sight fixed in,and then I Will have to scratch build a microphone. I have placed the ear cup on the left becouse there isn’t enough room on the right hand side Becouse of the camera,I also did a small cutout on the bump plate for the IR folk,not quit like in the sketches becouse it would just be to unstable cutting so much out. It’s quit a shame really becous the most of it will be covered by the helmet cover.

The earcup/mic is all over the place in the drawings. I think keeping it in the traditional position helps balance out the helmet. I'd love to have seen it on the right but then EVERYTHING would have been on that side. Great job! |

Got the helmet done,so basically the armour is all finished apart from painting.

The main armour will have the film colors or as close to Film colors but in BDU patern,the helm will have a cover on it. |

The final test fitting before I send it of to be all painted up but it still fits and it’s quit komfortabel to wear,a phew small adjustments to be maid but nothing major,all I need to do now is get the shoulder lamp finished but I’ll be getting on with that whilst the armour is being painted. This has been a challenge but it was a lot of fun to do the question is what to do next.

I thought it's time to do a small update on my armour,it's being painted by Huneybunny at the Moment who is doing an amazing job on it,and she aktualy had to make extra stencils for the patern. I decided to go with the normal coulours we all know just with four colours like on the BDUS instead of the normal five colours.
