The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

As far as I know that has remained a mystery sadly. When I scratch built mine I had to go to Morgan13 for a resin nozzle.

Maybe I'm wrong? I'd love it if I was so hopefully folks will chime in. All I know is that the original was metal and eventually rusted...

I have Morga13's kit. I had the muzzle installed but it fell off (guess I should have glued it better). I'll see if I can find it.

I don't recall it being particularly complex, mainly a tube with some vent holes in the sides.

It was indeed metal and in two halves that screwed together. I've never found what it originally was, although it looks like it could have been from some kind of garden weed-burner; but who knows.

Interesting, I was thinking it was a made for the movie item. Doesn't look toooo hard to do [famous last words]. I was toying with the idea of giving it a go myself at some point ...
