The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'm always making stuff for conventions, and when a friend told me to run an Aliens/Marines game at a few cons, I went a little nuts with the paper props. I don't think I've shared any of these here before, so I'll start with a few I've done over the last few years.

(High Res versions can be found here... https://www.artstation.com/artwork/g29eBG)

I mocked up a color version of the M42A Scope Rifle...

Image

...and a shotgun.

Image

Some patches for the Tsunami Missile Cutter 'Utah'.

And one of the scenarios involved picking up some Marine Raiders, so I did an 'Aliens' update on the old patch from years ago.

Image

This is a tribute to the 'Utah Light Calvary' or 145th Artillery...

Not yet. I only did the single profiles of each for a weapons list.

The campaigns take place about ten years into the future from the events of Aliens, so I wanted to make weapon upgrades from the standard pulse rifles to something new. I also liked the idea of a 'pulse pistol' and interchangeable frames and parts, so I kept designing more and more without sleeping or eating at regular intervals. It was an obsessive time.

Here is a short list of weapons:

USCM VP-70
Image

USCM Browning M1911

CMP Pulse Pistol 'Standard'

MRGL-10 Shortstock
Image

M20-LPA

The classic

This was for a specific character in the campaign named 'Hauck'. It's his beloved Frankengewehr.
M41-AR Pulse Rifle w/ MRMGL-05A

M42A Scope Rifle

BHI-M50 Pulse 'Assault'

BHI-M50 Pulse 'Sniper'

I figured since they're mentioned in the technical manual as a standard sidearm, I'd do a USCM issued version. And look...

Thank you. I was going for a list of weapons that would all look good 'together'. I like a lot of detail in a campaign, so I really enjoyed unveiling these alongside the 'Razorback'.

Some amazing weapons there my friend.

I Love this one most of all and could see the TECKNO VIKING making this a firm fav when his "HAMMER" (M41-E) isn`t required.

Thank you. My next updates for the campaign will include the weapons seen in the armory, including...

The M16A1
Image

The L85A1

And the Colt Commando

All modified to match the theme of course. I might also throw in the S&W 39.

I like the reimagined Raiders patch. Well I like all of it. But the patch more so.

I'm now thinking of what the Hell a USCM Raider would look like. But I'm sure they'd be Force Recon if the USCM is based off of the 80s USMC. (And I'm sure Force Recon has been done before?)

Yes, I've also imagined them as Force Recon (primarily like the Black Operations of today), but I haven't created the whole 'look'. If a look has been done by some other fan before, I'd be interested. I also want to do a run of the Raiders patch really badly.

Thanks! The M42A Scope Rifle is from the Colonial Marines Technical Manual (Page 24, Fig.2.16). If they've slated it for the AVP game, that's awesome!

I absolutely love the Privateers patch. Would you mind if I were to take it and have a physical patch made for my uniform?

I would love to do a run of that one too. Do we have a source for short, inexpensive runs?
