The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

This will eventually be my uniform, in the meantime I will be wearing my predator outfit.

I have the pulse rifle and the poor mans smart gun.

I did not get a picture of my version 2.0 costume build that is much more mobile on the predator side.

I am trying to slowly build it out to a much more movie accurate costume, but the build out takes a lot of time to accomplish.

Final 3 coats of polyurethane. It should harden after a day or so and make for a more durable and shiny finish.

Will get a start on the chest pieces tomorrow.

Good progress! One note though: the plate that hangs off the back of your armour (I.e. the "mud flap") is upside down. The flat side should face up. Check the shot of Hudson from behind in the archive to see what I mean.

yeah, slight oopsie. For this coming con I'll keep it and see what other durability issues I have and fix those for the April Con. Make it an easter egg to see how many spot the mistake.

starting on the spat cave unit. Will have to get a nickatron camera unit as the spat cave unit although much more realistic, will not house the electronics I need for everything to work properly.
