The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'm trying to update my pulse rifle build thread with new photos seeing as photobucket now wants a premium all my pics have gone!
I've just tried to upload them direct but I'm now being told I can only upload a maximum of 5! can somebody please advise me a hassle free way of adding pictures to my thread?

thanks

I've tried to do a little updating myself.
I've had to cut it to just the 'hits'. On the plus side, the limit is 5 per post. You can go unlimited number of posts. Def sucks but you can upload way more pics. Just have to do it 5 at a time.

Photo bucket has gone to a paid model screwing every one.

As cheap as internet storage is, you either:
find a new vendor and use them for as long as they are free
purchase some web storage through any number of vendors and pay a small fee for that
get your own domain and park files there and link from there

I did this for our 2016 Thanksgiving mission trip:
http://fnlvmission.org/galleria/web_gal ... index1.htm

filezilla or cyberduck are the two main sftp/ftp clients of choice for transferring a number of files. I mention these two as 1and1.com who I use for the above site has downloadable configuration files to make the transfer and setup process very easy.

With the roll out of LTE5 supporting 20 Gigabytes per second down to each device, internet will become very cheap and accessible soon. IN that instance it will be easier to have an appliance at your house that you use to publish your photos out to the internet. Longer term that is how things will go after everyone gets pissed about getting screwed one too many times.

As bigbisont says, it's a maximum of five images per post, not per thread.

Anyway, posting more than five in one post can make mobile browser viewing very slow. :)

Also, try to reduce the size of the pics before posting, say down to 800x600. That way they'll upload faster for you and download faster for us. 8)
