The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Has anyone built this Lego dropship? I'm considering it but would like to know if anyone has attempted it and if it's worth doing? If anyone has some pics etc of it that would be great! http://dansbrickbuilds.com/downloads/dropship/

I have seen this and it looks pretty awesome! The only complaint is the colour scheme. Would look much better all one colour!
I have a lego apc to build when i find the time. Then on to some custom marines.

That's some amazing building! Yea if I build it I think I may paint the bricks the right colour first and then try and get a little APC to go with it :)

I always assume Lego builds like the ones I linked are craaaaaazy expensive. Not sure about the one the OP put up.

They reckon it's $225 for the 1724 parts needed to complete it.i still have a lot of Lego I've handed down to my children so I might have a hunt through and see what bits I already have, if I am going to paint it it doesn't really matter if I get the correct colours as long as they are the correct pieces.
