The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ok, i know this has been asked but i would love a list rundown of all the proper attire for the dress c uniform. Ex: hat : whatever hat is accepted and so on. Have my usmc shirt and patches but pants, boots, hat etc. Thanks brothers, and sisters.

Reading through this thread is a good complete take on the Service Cs (the good, bad and indifferent).
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13322&hilit=SERVICE+COVER

-Dom makes (or has made several runs in the past) the gold badges for the caps. Real marine pins are pretty frowned upon. We get plenty of dirty looks from active duty military already without tempting fate by using real AEGs.

-British RUC caps and Canadian forage caps seem to be the best match for headgear.

-Pants that match the caps are a devil to track down here in the states, but the Canadian caps do have matching trousers.

-Ive seen all kinds of shoes, but mostly any shiny dress shoe looks the part.

-The belt has been seen on film to have a basketweave pattern, but my theory is its just an embossed weave pattern "garrison belt" like is common for many police forces.

Well i used the standard USMC Charlie shirt which then i took a 2nd shirt to make the new modded pockets. then i picked up a pair of US Army Delta Pants. then i found a Webbed belt with a silver buckle only cuz lower enlisted do not were gold. then i use my issued dress shoes and i grabbed a garrison cover the marines use and also the dress cover.

Do the delta pants match the garrison cover pretty well?

This is a resin repro of the Version 2 challenge coin (Screaming Eagle side) and I have exactly three of those left, one is spoken for. After that... not sure when and if I can get more.

The trousaers found in the USA are normally a touch to pale. What you are looking for is "rifle green", as used by the Canadian Army for its dress uniform.
