Post subject:  My new pulse rifle

ThIs is my modified snow wolf. As I am also building an airsoft fully working metal one I decided on this one to try and see how I could get a decent copy of a pulsey without spending a fortune, this is the result. The only part not original snow wolf is the shotgun and it's bolt. The plastic shoulds were reshaped. The barrel shroud was filled with body filler and smoothed off to get the right shape and the circle hole blanked off. The triangular barrel bracket was drilled out (unfortunately I have lost the shot counter as a result ) . The SPAS cage was opened up and a cheap airsoft shotgun installed, the bolt is a real but modified Remington 870 shotgun bolt which racks and sounds pretty good. So overall very happy with the results and so now I have no excuses to get back onto my sentry gun to finish the sight unit. I have managed to get my mitts on two camera's I think will do the job so going to be making two sights seems a shame to waste one ☺

Cheers gents, it was a fun conversion but i'll admit that shoe horning that Remington bolt into the airsoft shotgun and then getting it to rack had me scratching my head for a while!! ☺
I will try and resurrect the build thread for my sentry gun so theirs continuity for the sentry gun and the new sight build.

That's great Shelby! I know what you mean about shoe horning the shotgun into the snow wolf cage.
I like how you reshaped the shroud. Something I didn't have the guts or know how to try.
I have a pulse rifle build thread in the airsoft section with a pps m870 in.
You might not have seen it being in the airsoft section haha.

Cool yep it definitely a bit of a nightmare but the A&k shotgun I used didn't have a retracting bolt hence the cut and shut with the Remington bolt. My all metal i am building has an APS cam870 and that just slotted in nicely once it was shortened and the trigger guard trimmed.
As this was really just a see if I can do it job before I tackle it on my second one I just went for it on the shrouds. Once you have a good shape it was just a case of filling in were the plastic had been ground through and then some sanding to get the shape, the retractable stock still works as well which was a bit of a bonus ☺
I followed your build on the airsoft page, nice work getting your pulse rifle together, looks gorgeous.
