Fantastic! That is absolutely the best way to display the SmartGun I'd say. I just worry it will tip over.

A very real fear! This was the 4th attempt before I finally got it all balanced out. The gun needed its own support because the mannequins waist couldn't handle the weight. I was trying to find a used mic stand to prop the front of the gun up with and found a folding screen backdrop at the local Goodwill for cheap. That is what the gray thing is there in the front.

Some well placed sandbags would prevent that... and hide the mannequin bases as well.

Oddly enough, I can probably ditch the bases anyways. Years of use on my original mannequin caused the connection between the mannequin leg and base to fail. The connection is there, but it can't tighten anymore, so he is more or less propped against the wall. The officers boots cover that connection point on the other male mannequin, so unless I want to cut a hole in the boots (I don't) or fold them down (I don't) then I can't even hook it up to the base. It is also just propped against the wall. Both those guys are pretty well balenced at least though.
Eventually I'd like to get some kind of floor that looks like the colony grates. Maybe I'll paint the grid design on to some basic gray foam mat or something. When I upgrade the floor, I'll def address the bases better.

Terran, in that last photo I was looking at your grenades. What's the story with the bottom one? The cap is longer and has no stripe. Is there a reason?
Na, no 'good story'. I'm just behind on projects and also lazy. I lost a cap at D*Con and haven't properly replaced it yet. The replacement caps I bought a bag of were all a bit long. I haven't gotten around to trimming it and striping it yet. I also haven't fixed the drum cover on my smartgun that my bro snapped off, the spat racal kit my mother-in-law broke, or the Matsuo S&W my wife dropped!
I have a lot to catch up on... (Also a good lesson about letting people borrow your stuff!)
