Had the chance to finish my Apone' Bino upgrade.

It is based on Spat's great resin kit added
screws
the real accurate Ferro case for the bino
a real (not screen accurate) bino set (without night vision, but you can now realy use it)

Finding the case: eBay. Problem here the original Bino is still under export/import restricted.

Build/Upgrade was easy:
1) Cut down Spat's Bino kit so that it fits inside the real case (you need to reshape it a "bit").
2) Dremel out the parts where you want to have a functional Bino set to come in to replace the resin "glass" parts
3) Add screws
4) Put it all together and paint it (still need to improve here!)

Again thanks to Spat's thick and very solid resin this was possible, and it is still hollow the now two mono binos
are put in place by foam. ;-)

You you see it at first glance you mostly see the real case, so it comes rather close to the original without the price tag
and legal points.

Yes, it took some time to see how much need to be cut to make the bigger resin bin fit into the bino case;
but it is possible.
