I just received my reflecta in the mail and started to take it apart. I hit a little bit of a snag.

Is the top panel part of the orignal unit that i need to cut some where?

Cut? I own a reflecta also and just needed to gut the internals. Anything outside shouldn't be cut. Yours looks good from the picture. :) IMO
