Now who among us didn`t always want an awesome Pulse Rifle ?

I certainly was no exception to that since I originally watched Aliens in the cinema at the tender age of 15.
(Note: To be allowed to legally watch the movie I`d have needed to be 16. I actually manipulated my school passport for this - and boy am I glad today that I did this !)

Many years later -I think this was around 2009 or so- I saw the HCG Hero Aliens Pulse Rifle. I didn`t know much about anything back then and certainly not about this board. I couldn`t really justify the cost, but on a whim bought it. Of course I liked having a life sized Pulse Rifle in the house. But despite my best efforts to convince myself how great my purchase was some doubts began to grow. The Grenade Launcher was wobbly as hell, especially as I hadn`t yet learned to tighten the two screws holding the grip in place. Also it had a bad case of the infamous barrel droop. I managed to fix this, hoping to finally be happy with this rifle...

... and then this board happened. I learned about a *lot* around here. Among many obscure and weird things also about the infamous full metal hero Pulse Rifles. When I looked into those full of envy I sadly instantly realised that this was not for me, not being the greatest craftsman in the world (to put it mildly  ).

Enter the present. Burner asked me a couple of months ago what I thought of the new HCG stunt rifle. Not even being satisfied with my hero I couldn`t bring up a lot of enthusiasm for it. Then in May on the RPC Con in Cologne Burner was blown away by the quality of Schotti`s Pulse Rifle. Sadly I couldn`t be there with the lads, but Burner later told me about it.
So inspired by what Burner saw we discussed what we would like to see in a Pulse Rifle.
If you know Burner, you know that he is never doing these things half heartedly. He dived in there 100% searching all the dark corners of the net for more information.

Also, having seen Schotti`s mindblowing craftsmanship, there was no other choice than asking him if he was willing to do some commission work for us. To our delight he was quite open for the idea. Burner bought all the components from various places (some of them even twice  ) and sent it to Schotti. After I saw what he did with Burner´s rifle I hesitated for about a nanosecond and followed step.

Now, last Sunday I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to collect my very own full metal hero Pulse Rifle from Schotti. And boy, am I glad I did this. Not only was a beer and some delicious cake included, I couldn`t have been happier about the day. Schotti was an absolutely amazing guy to meet and -wow- he did the best job I could have hoped for on my Pulse Rifle.

So in conclusion there are two things for me to say:

1. I never thought I`d get the chance to own a full metal hero Pulsy of my own. Happy beyond words !

2. There is a great camaraderie growing among the German Colonial Marines lately.

So, with a thousand THANKS to BURNER and SCHOTTI, here are a couple of pics. I owe you many, many beers, comrades ! :D :D :D

In the province of Quebec, the age rating was 14, so my dad lied about my age. I was three months away from turning 14, and he had just turned 41. I'm almost 44 now... and I can remember this day like it were yesterday. The cinema doesn't exist any more. Memories.

I certainly admire this! Scotti continues to impress!

Congratulations on acquiring such a beauty!
Are the shrouds handcrafted or are they HCG shrouds?

Like mine: HCG alluminium shrouds ;)!

I like the black eject port - it is a kind of night version without reflecting parts ;)!
