The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ok guys so ive stripped my airsoft m870 down to use as a gl. Ive got as far as the trigger assembly and now im stuck.
What do i do with the safety and unloader button? And im guessing the trigger guard needs cutting off?

I did ask in the airsoft section but nobody has replyed and im guessing it would be a very similar process for all shotguns. Can anyone can help because ive come to a standstill
Thanks in advance

IIRC trigger guard and safety are cut off - but the front part of the guard must not be cut too short as there is a spring inside.

don't mess with the unloader button. You will want to keep that.

Trigger guard def needs to be cut off and Crash is 100% correct, you gotta leave some space to account for the both the safety and the spring for the hammer.
I cut mine too short. It wasn't bad and I was able to recover, but it is best to avoid doing what I did.

And in case you were wondering, it IS screen accurate to have that front of the trigger large and visible. On the 10-hole hero you can see the 'nub' quite often.

Thanks for replying and clearing that up crashdown and bigbisont. I have been doing some research on others sites and the front of the trigger guard is visible on alot of builds. I have never noticed before and assumed the lot was removed. Should now be able to continue on to the next hurdle! :D
