The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Have been looking for a way to transport the Smartgun to and from cons, rather than just shoving it in the car and covering it up. Off the shelf storage just seemed so expensive. So I decided to make one! Went for an old style WW2 look, and had a couple of old ammo containers knocking around so thought i would spruce it up so it could be displayed with the gun. All in all, cost about £30 so happy with that!

What a cracking idea, really well done as well, nice and compact, no wasted space.

Great job Matt.

Very nice. :)

How heavy is it when empty?

Well, that is the one drawback!

About 20kgs i reckon. Considered using pine to lighten it up, but decided to go for strength.

Probably going to add some removable castor wheels so it can be pulled along.

Here! As usual.
Glad to hear that you would not carry it alone, if you know what I mean.
The idea is good. And not so crazy as using a rocket transport box.
