Post subject:  USCM Yoga Mat at Walmart, close enough and cheap
Just a heads up for those in the US. I was at my local Walmart and saw a OD green yoga mat/camping mat with the small diamond pattern. Sorry for no pics or links....Its was of the rare times I didnt have a cell phone with me. I have some of the Norwegian stuff and this looked close enough for government work. It was in the outdoor section. One part of smooth mat bonded to a diamond shaped section. So a two part mat.

PS, this might be old news and if it is sorry about that:)

Looks nice... probably a lot easier than trying to cut up my Dutch one. Hard to get it flat and even. Wonder if they ship to the U.S....

This proof I do use the search function:) I found a Russian Army mat with the correct wafle pattern on Ebay...$20. Ill update this thread when I get it in hand.

I opened the package today and so far really good. The problem with the dutch pad is that it was too thick and you had to find a way to shave it down. This stuff is the right amount of thickness. Ill post a pic in a day or two when I catch my breath.

Overall pretty good with square sizes that look correct, but the squares have the pyramid shape to them instead of the screen used stuff where each square was flat.



The walmart stuff I've walked by and pondered on numerous occasions. I think this is it, but sadly I don't think it is available anymore. Couldn't find a more detailed pic. If it is the one I have walked by dozens of times at my local walmart, the color is actually a bit lighter in real life and the squares a bit undersized. Could be a different brand though. I am not 100% this is the one referenced by the OP

ah ok, I have some of the russian matt, pretty good looking. Ive been out of the game for a few months, maybe ill hit a walmart and see what i can find.
