The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

OH man...now these are MUST OWN. Love that they are leading off with Ski and Spunkmeyer. They probably think they are being clever by starting with "minor" characters to build suspense for the 'stars', but joke is on them - those are the ones I want most!!! I hope Crowe and Frost aren't too far away.

That is actually kind of a bummer than the blind purchases of single figs are $10 each. I dont have any desire to get 12 aliens warriors in 3 different styles if buying a case (as projected in the prior article about case assortment). I guess the evilbay and hoping no one places value on Marines not named Hicks and Hudson will be my best bet. Otherwise I will spend a fortune just hoping to get Weirzbowski!

We could still end up with multiples of the same few Marines and not get others at all. :?

True but probably unlikely. I don't think they would deliberately hold back certain figures, as if they were a coveted contest piece or something. I would assume its highly likely that each figure will have an equal chance of being dolled out. I plan to order a few blind sets to see what I get when they are closer to release. I'd be more than willing to swap with anyone, any duplicates I might receive :)

I dig em. Some people hate on those things, but I'd like to have them all.

I guess its a bit silly to complain about "accuracy" on figures such as this, but Deitrich with a Pulse!? I hope they dont actually look so 'lime green'. Come on man!

Cool stuff. I have the next wave with Frost in it pre-ordered.

On a related note, I was in my local Toys R Us yesterday and saw a "toys r us Exclusive" wave. Looks to be a "marine vs. Alien" theme where each pack has a character and warrior. Mostly it looks to be a way to get Vaz and Hudson "early" (compared to waiting for the actual series 2) and repackaging of Hicks and Ripley. So nothing 'new', but just an FYI they are currently on store shelves.

So to recap:
Initial "counter dump" release (Individual packaging, 1 figure each)
-Spunkmeyer
-Burke
-Wierzbwoski
-9x Warriors (various states of battle damage, inner jaws attacking, open/closed mouths, etc)

Series 1 (2 figures per pack)
-Hicks/Rescue Mission Ripley
-Drake/BD Warrior
-Apone/ Warrior
-Dietrich/Colonist Mary

"Toys R Us Exclusive" wave (2 figures per pack)
-Vasqeuz/Warrior
-Hudson/Warrior
-Hicks/Warrior
-Rescue Mission Ripley/Warrior

Series 2 (2 figures per pack)
-Vasquez/Hudson
-'Bomber Jacket' Ripley/Newt
-Frost/Torched Warrior
-Crowe/Warrior

Powerloader Scene
-Powerloader
-Rescue Mission Ripley
-Alien Queen
-Ripped in half Bishop

Toys R Us wave 2 (? I think exclusive?)
-'79 Ripley/"Screaming" creature
-Screaming Apone/"Glow in the dark" warrior
-Screaming Drake (w/flamethrower)/"Extra Battle damaged" warrior

Not announced (series 3?)
-Ferro
-Gorman
-regular Bishop
