This is an absolutely fantastic show. Have folks watched all eight episodes yet? The final episode goes pretty far into Alien territory.

I watched the first episode last night. Excellent show, I was really impressed with the way it captured the early eighties feel. Definitely will binge-watch it.

I noticed this too. Great series! Im not sure where season 2 will go but i hope its just as good!

Rewatching Stranger Things and at the end of episode 7 ("The Bathtub") when the creature attacks Will you can hear the distinctive "WOO-oo" sound from the Alien/Aliens/Prometheus trailers. Given the other Alien references there's no way this is a coincidence.
