With my Colonial Marine armor build coming to a finish, I recently began bouncing around the idea of building a Weyland-Yutani mercenary loadout (as seen on Aliens CM). There aren't very many reference pics online so I'll have to jump back in the game for some screen shots, but it should be relatively simple.

(not this dude, just the standard PMC's with baseball caps and balaclavas)
The biggest obstacle is going to be the separate plating that make up the front of the armor. I was kind of thinking about taking standard Marine armor and cutting it into sections to reattach them. Also the shoulder lamp head (red light) is going to throw me off a bit as well; maybe just a mod to an original lamp.
most everything else are standard grenade loops and misc. tactical gear that looks to be modern. Again I'll attempt to find more reference pics. Let me know what you all think!

There's some pretty cool looking Motorcross armour out there, painted white it might be an affordable option (plus you won't have to do much fabrication).

Very true, I'll have to look into that. Although the Light PMC's wear a lot less armor; just a trimmed down version of the M3. but I can see where adding some of that motocross gear where it's needed can be beneficial. I'll keep playing around wit it

so i actually commissioned a 3d designer to create the models for the PMC armor,
he is almost finished. he has shared with me his progress and the files look awesome, he is currently doing the finishing touches to the shin guards and he advises they should be done by next week,
granted its only the light PMC, i will be commissioning him later again to do the heavy PMC helmet and shoulder bells,
once he posts up the files on his sale page, i can link them to you.
