Totally awesome. How did you get the lines so clean on the pouldrons and ridges on the rest? |

I'll get some picks Up from the machine that i use when i get back from work later. Here is a pick of my nearly finished Breast plate using the Same mashine to get all the Lines streight and so on,i now it's Not perfekt but i'm happy with it so far. I have started the back plate but it's nowhere near finished.

Are you doing traditional rivets to secure everything? I am on the fence about that myself. I dont think the 'pop rivets' will look quite right, tubular rivets are fine for when the head faces out, but the underside looks worse than pop rivets, and I can't find legit actual hammer on rivets. I am thinking about using some cut off roofing nails. I hear that is fairly common, cheap, and looks the part. Still not quite settled. |

Well this is your armour and Cut Dawn nails are actualy One of the origional ways, so your on the right path about that. I myself use These,They are Great for my Needs and they are pretty Darn strong, you can find them at any leather Shop over hier or DIY Shops. As you can see they are a two Part hammer Rivets male & female with a hammer punch you just Hit the Head, and that just basicaly squashes the two together and there you have a solid fixing Point.

The shoulder lamp fits fine. Great progress. If you progress with this speed (and amazing quality) it will even be ready for the last drop in 2015: Weekend of Hell 6. - 8. 11. |
