The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

This is where i am at the Moment.

I don't have much Time But when i do i try to get as much done as possible.

I did all the indentations First i then started to Bend everything into it's right and final Position.

Working with allu is Not so hard,i just Tend to work slowly trying Not to make to many mistakes, and now i'm quit happy with the end result.

Are you doing traditional rivets to secure everything? I am on the fence about that myself.

I dont think the 'pop rivets' will look quite right, tubular rivets are fine for when the head faces out, but the underside looks worse than pop rivets, and I can't find legit actual hammer on rivets. I am thinking about using some cut off roofing nails. I hear that is fairly common, cheap, and looks the part. Still not quite settled.

Well this is your armour and Cut Dawn nails are actualy One of the origional ways, so your on the right path about that.

I myself use These,They are Great for my Needs and they are pretty Darn strong, you can find them at any leather Shop over hier or DIY Shops.

As you can see they are a two Part hammer Rivets male & female with a hammer punch you just Hit the Head, and that just basicaly squashes the two together and there you have a solid fixing Point.

You *could* just do small runs of the smaller parts - lobster plates / pauldrons etc ... just a thought :)

The shoulder lamp fits fine.
Great progress. If you progress with this speed (and amazing quality) it will even be ready for
the last drop in 2015: Weekend of Hell 6. - 8. 11. :)
