Post subject:  Ripley, Newt, and Mini Hicks & Hudson - in Progress
Working on a family costume group for Dallas Comic Con Fan Days in October. You can see my progress to my Ripley below (still need to finish the better grenades and weather the clothes).

My 4-year-old daughter will be Newt (I've got her clothes, need to weather/rip it and find Casey for her). Will hopefully have a photo of hers this week.

And my boys (7 and 2.5) will be Hicks and Hudson. I'll be making their armor from EVA foam in the next few weeks and will post progress pics as I get them completed. You can also follow the entire build and our other costuming/cosplay adventures at https://www.facebook.com/munchkincosplay

bigbisont - when I was researching how I wanted to do the boys' costumes I kept seeing your son's (I think either here and/or the RPF) and plan to use your build some as inspiration! Love the family ones as well! My hubby isn't a big costumer so he doesn't usually do them with us - but that's okay because 4 costumes for every "theme" is already a lot! LOL.

Great! Hope those posts were/are of some help. Yeah, 4 costumes a pop sounds like you have your work cut out for you. Best of luck and can't wait to see what you come up with.

This is going to be awesome. I love the family stuff. My son and I have only done Red Skull and Captain America together but I'm thinking of getting him a mini hicks too :D

Still need a few finishing touches on all of the costumes but the hard work is done!
Still need: Pants for Peter and a lock for his armor "heart", Shoes for both boys, finish making "Casey" for Sarah (the doll head is in the mail!) and most likely make a pulse rifle or three.
