I was asked by some potential OZ marines if there was an Aussie forum, so I thought I'd spend some time today creating one......

Although it's for, hopefully, recruiting some more marines down under, anyone can join. I think having international ( to us...lol) marines on the board would be great

Kraig, I suggest you ask the mods about having a separate forum off the AL just like the UKCM have. That way, you will definitely have international posters....US

Smells like a couple of shrimp have been thrown on the barby.

So now there are 2 of us talking about this. Hi Kitty how we going to restore this? I looked through all of the names that have been registered and created a list. Send some messages and see if the Australian Marines are willing to get involved? Looking for ideas on how to tackle this.

When I went through the list of serial numbers there are 20 including myself. I assume that there are members of the forum that may not have become members of the rank & file, civilians or xenos.

Not sure but you don't see to many at cons ever. Might be 5 in QLD that I know of that troop. About 3 in NSW that I've seen troop. Don't know how many in TAS or WA or SA.
Vic has 3 including myself that i know of. The serial number is just that a number. I count troopers and prop builders. I know of 4 other guys here in vic that have numbers but have no intent on building anything soon.

Interesting you say that. On the list I put together VIC has the largest number with 10. Just got my armor & rifle delivered from Spat in Georgia Atlanta. Not a prop maker myself but certainly will be attending conventions starting with Supanova in Sydney next month. Wanting to get interstate for other cons particularly Gold Coast as they have the parade similar to Dragoncon in the States.

Just look at how often when these people last posted on here. If its over a year I'm guessing you can write them off as active.

Got to show the outfit to the public for the first time. Screening of Aliens. Full house, lots of laughing at Hudson's lines by the audience. Gun is still not finished, no patches & no personalisation on the armour. Got Supanova in a few weeks to get some of those details finished. Beer is not standard issue.
