The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just wondering if anybody knew if there were any other armor makers besides Spat, Chef, and Terry English? They all do amazing work but I was just wondering what other options were out there if any?

You can make your own.

Avoid GoldenArmor and Global_Uplink, you WILL get ripped off

If it's just a cost issue, you could go for just BDUs at first, then buy the armour a bit at a time?

Flower pots and garbage cans! I swear by them.

I built my son's and my own that way and haven't regretted it for a minute. Lots of good threads out there for scratch built armor.

Absolutely. And to add to what PVB said, an olive drab jumpsuit with a few patches is an extremely economical route to a pretty screen accurate costume.

But once you start it's hard to stop!

Looks like the only options seem to be Spat, Chef, Terry English and making your own.

Yup, we're very lucky to have so many options.
