I had good weather for painting, sanding and drilling. I got a TON of 'little jobs' that had been sitting in drawers done. In addition to my other posts this morning I knocked these little jobs that don't really need their own posts.
Job#1 - Refurb the $15 'camo' night raider.
Scored a $15 night raider (camo version) that was absolutely kicked to crap. The drak finish was coming off the blade in multiple spots, the 'compass' (on camo version only) was full of air bubbles and didnt point north, and the sheath was dry to the point the rear button snap had rotted off and was missing.
But I hit it with some paint to cover the camo and then I hit the blade with some gun oil and a dremel tool (with the pad similar to scotchbrite).
This was the result. Looks kind of like the correct scalemead version this way so I slapped it on the wall!

Job#2 - Build a "battery" &
Job #3 - replace the tip from a 4 barrel version to a one barrel belt tool
I had the jacks in a drawer for more than a year. I was going to convert one of my 4-barrel belt tools into a smartgun battery, but decided to just buy a resin belt tool. I realized it was already solid resin, so it would be easier to attach the jacks (simply drill the hole), then I could take the single tip and use it on the 4-barrel tool.
The plan worked splendidly.

I dropped the ball here. I forgot to take pics. But I did complete them!
