Post subject:  Screen dumps from ALIEN box set
Hi guys!

I'm new around here :D

I'm building a Voight-Kampff machine from the movie Blade Runner. Some of the graphic animations displayed on this prop is seen in some of the extra material on the ALIEN blu-ray box set....

So my pledge is: Would somebody be a samaritan and take some screen dumps of these graphic animations and post them here or mail them to me? Then I would be very, very thankful Cheesy

Anders! I recognize you from the Prop Summit forum.
I sadly do not have what you are looking for (no BluRay for me yet), but I'm very interested in this. You are saying some of the screens from the Nostromo in ALIEN were reused on the VK in Blade Runner? I knew about the Spinner screen but not these others. That's very cool.

That's where I usually hang out 8) I have some ALIEN props also... There's a special connection between these movies.

Yes, the word is over at Propsummit (and theRPF) from some very reliable sources that the visuals - the graph animations - seen on the VK were originally used i ALIEN, and that you can se them somewhere in the bonus material in the blu-ray box set. I haven't been able to confirm it yet. But I figured this was the place to ask!!!!

Your Nostromo watch is especially nice! I'm Retrogarde over there too.

Considering how labor intensive those graphics were to make at that time I wouldn't be at all surprised if SRS reused them.

Of course you are! Was a bit tired yesterday, when writing....

I'm not sure they were designed, I talked to 8th passenger over on Propsummit, and he mentioned that they might just be standard oscilloscope screens fitted into the VK... Makes sense!

And thanks for the compliment on the watch, a little gem in my ALIEN collection :D
