The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Based on an old RPF thread, SSgt Burton has one and he said it was a Signal SA-100.

GE made a very similar one, mod# LS4IN1, but appearently it has grooves in the battery cover that were not on the one used in the film.

I could have sworn I had my own thread about this when I first won this flashlight off ebay in 2008... But if there is a thread I can't find it.

Anyway here it is-

I got lucky back then searching for the following on ebay:

"4 in 1 (or 6 in 1) flashlight", "emergency flashlight", "all purpose", "vintage" or "old" or "70s" flashlight.

Best of luck!

Kevin

Its kind of odd that the picture on the box has smooth sides near the ends (which is screen accurate) but the actual item has the 'ribbed' texture like the GE lights that were in the US. Unfortunately it appears he is not willing to ship to the US anyways, but that is a pretty good price for a very close item.

Someone may want to embed the image to this thread so another variant/make & model can be recorded. When the auction ends all that info will disappear.

I received the flashlight this week and the actual light is different to the image on the box.

A bit disappointed but I can live with it.
