The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I have made a jacket that a marine might wear in his/her 'Downtime' and think that this tag would be a great finishing touch. :)

Hi Draco! I recognize you from the RPF Nostromo costuming thread!

Dom is of course correct, and to my knowledge these weren't sold on their own anyway. It would be easier probably to make your own, and then you could get the correct background color for the Delta.

There's a 15 year waiting list for the tags.

Terran years or Neptunian years?

But on a serious note... they're neat, but serve little value IMHO.

Hi retrogarde! yeah, your spot on. I know the Delta should have been a black background (thanks to research on this forum!!) but i figured it was neat anyway seeing as how my jacket is a 'Aliens Universe' (again, using info from people's builds i did get the right badges and used proper USCM spacing for the Eagle,Flag and Stripes) and not a screen used item. My jacket just came back from my seamstress and i am really happy with it.
I did look into having some done but you had to order a LOT and it was expensive. I looked at printing them as well but i failed to find a way to 'Lock' the colours in place and i assume i will be washing the jacket in the future as it is an everyday wear item!! LOL!
Oh well, back to the drawing board....

Lately I've been wondering about using Spoonflower to make ship patches or tags (Sgt. Kitten made a great Nostromo uniform tag for example). It wouldn't be embroidered, but it might look better than an iron-on. Something to consider at least!
