I have always struggled to find good way to display my Hudson "eagle bolo" and the knives I have collected.
A few weeks back I found a pretty close match for Hicks' lock and also struggled to figure out a good way to display it.
The final straw was nabbing an absolutely pristine Savanna Bronica lighter. I HAVE TO DISPLAY THIS STUFF!
Then it hit me: I have wood. I have paint. I have character specific props. I should make a little mock-up of their body armor to "frame" everything like a little plaque.
So I got to painting!

Now to attach the cool stuff.
-I grabbed the smallest "clasp" I could find and cut it a bit to match. Of course it cam with screws but I cut down some nail heads to simulate the 'rivets' used on the actual item.

Then a few strategically placed nails & some final paint touches.
