The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So the PTSF is a black shirt with white graphics?

Pity.

What makes me laugh is the Copyright of November Fire under all the images. So if I take an image used in a film and originally created by someone else but I stick it black and white and suddenly I own the copyright.

Other than that I dont like any of the designs they have done anyway but thanks for posting.

Cheers

Darren

Is that peace through superior firepower design copyrighted by anyone, or can it just be reproduced?

I only wondered cos I really want one, but the only one I have seen to buy was for sale by the prop store of london, but they only did xl :(

If there was enough interest by people, and it wasnt a naughty thing to make (please anyone who thinks this is a no-no, let me know, I dont wanna step on anyones toes) I could do a run of them I reckon, maybe 50, probably at a small cost, like less than a tenner each, and if given the sizes could get the right sizes for people too.

What does anyone reckon, is it something I should look into doing for us all? Or not?
:D

Rook was involved with selling PTSF shirts with a member over on the RPF, but that was last year. I don't think anyone here is currently selling them.

Now, as to weather or not it's proper to do so, I don't know. Many people here have done things with images created for the movie, and no one has said boo about it.

I believe that "Peace through Superior Firepower" was on Polaris patches in the 70's

I've got one of their Bustomper T's and love it. I too thought about getting it on a hoodie for the cooler months, maybe deck it out with a few patches, etc.

But I've already got a military-ish jacket with that same stuff already on it, so I'm set.

Ive got one of their PTSF shirts and can attest to the quality. They are good quality shirts and the silkscreening is well done. Mine is an XL and fits a little snugly around the chest. I am a big guy though.

20th century fox owns the copyright. Even if they did paste in a bad high contrast of a G&P kit instead of Cameron's sketch!!

Even if those were licensed (and they ain't) the copyright would read something like "copyright 2007 20th century fox, llp, etcetc. all rights reserved" kind of a dealio.

I do like the big stomper shirt!

Me too. I've got the Screaming Eagles and PTSF shirts from them and they are both awesome, while admitting the lack of screen accuracy (grey with black writing).

Check these out for T shirts:

Here's Johny! :D Weyland-Yutani :) PTSF 8)

I like all of these. I have there PTSF in grey and it wears well. Cheap too at 17 bucks.

I was almost going to order the PTSF shirt- however chances are it wouldn't arrive in time for D-Con as I leave on the 29th (30th latest).

Might get lucky and see PTSF shirts for sale in the dealers room.

Do what I do Kev. Send the t-shirt to Tony. He will be arriving on Saturday so that gives you 10 working days. Now drop Tony a line to let him know what's happening & go place that order...and that's an order...Sarge
