The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Added some graffiti to my chest plate.

Rilea is a military base in Oregon where I've spent a lot of time as a WWII and Vietnam War reenactor. "Hoc Futue" is a battlecry/nickname.

See if you can catch the other references. :)

Tannhauser is easy, but you stumped me with the rest! Are you going with all OD armour? I think that could look pretty cool.

Yeah, sticking with OD chest armor. Painted my shin armor and bucket in kind of a DPM pattern, though.

Zinderneuf was the name of the French Foreign Legion fort from "Beau Geste." A classic novel--better than the movie adaptations.

2nd Coral was a battle fought in John Scalzi's novel "Old Man's War." If you haven't read it, get a copy. An interesting "Starship Troopers"-esque read.
