The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Does anybody have a good scan of the sketches Cameron made of the Colonial marine design?

This is the best I've got.

He's a really impressive artist . I always loved his queen vs power loader sketch . It's amazing how close to the actual look his drawings are .

Cool! Hadn't seen that one before!

I'm trying to collect all of James Cameron actual artwork from his entire career and put it all in one place. Thought it would be an interesting project.

If anybody's got any other rare Cameron artwork in their image collections please post them! I'm always trying to find better scans of some of the classic drawing we've all seen before as well.

To be clear though, isn't that a Terry English drawing that you posted (and Dom reposted in a higher res version)? I've seen his sketches of the smartgun rig and the Queen and there's no denying his talent.

It really matches Cameron's drawing style. Here are two other Cameron sketches done in at the same time.

Also the way James Cameron Draws face matches up with those Marine sketches.

Here's a story panel from the first Terminator with a very similar face style-
