What's your barrel like, dude?
Mine's a de-ac too, and my barrel was solid steel rebar... Entire gun was about 28kg IIRC!

It's builds like this that make me wish we could produce our own (licensed?) book about the Colonial Marines. The next big anniversary for Aliens is on the horizon, do you think we could pitch it??

Words don't describe the level of your work here! Just awesome man! You've got me tempted to switch from a rifleman to a smartgunner.

I will say to you as will other SG gunners on here will agree its a money pit build and will take time its no quick fix, also being physically fit and a strong back is a must ,but if you do really what to go this route gizz a shout and I'll help as much as I can

Thanks fella, I appreciate that. I've decided to stick to a rifleman for now but may pick your brains on behalf of the brother, who is really keen on lugging 5ft of gun around :P
