Hi all How long is the sling for the pulse rifle? Been looking at GP military straps on ebay. I know they arent sa but like the military look to them. |

Unless someone here got an actual screen-used prop, we'd probably never know. Also they should be adjustable, so they'd have a min and max length. |

The ones I have for my PR and Motion Tracker are 44 inches long (not including clip ends) and 2 inches wide. |

Ok thats waht I was looking for. Wanted to make sure what i had was close to the proper length. I got two GP military straps and they are 2 inches wide and 44 long. Whats the proper way to sling the rifle, across the body or just over the shoulder? |

Whats the proper way to sling the rifle, across the body or just over the shoulder? I used GP straps on my tracker and pulse for years. They work great. I will say you have to max out the length on the adjustability, but they absolutely look the part. Anyways PVB is right that comfort is key. I suppose the single shoulder was most popular in the film, but I don't see how a sane person could claim that was "correct USCM policy" vs. actor's preference. Personally, I would never strap my pulse across my body regardless of sling because I am not certain the pulse wouldn't break! My Airsoft pulse is a bit flimsy in the triangle and my personal build is sturdy enough, but I would still prefer to know I could un-sling it in a pinch (and without taking my helmet off) if I have to move a way that might cause stress at the sling points. As such, I prefer single shoulder. Just my paranoid mind. |

Yeah Im pretty confident in the fact that my barrel vent will hold but at the same time dont want to stress it. It is metal and I threaded and bolted the backside of the sling mount. If Im ever hanging from the strap in an airduct like Bruce Willis in Die Hard I guess we will see how much it can handle!(I know different gun):)! |
