The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Are the cryo tubes ever called anything specific other than "freezers"? Or is cryo tube the specific term? I don't have my copy of Aliens handy to review.

I *think* someone refers to them as Hypersleep Chambers in Alien Cubed... perhaps...

In Alien3 Clemens states that Newt "Drowned in her cryotube."

Kev I think that Newt drowned is due to the fact the pod landed in water.

O.k., so I wasn't far off calling them "cryo chambers". I needed some sort of confirmation due to a project I'm working on. Thanks for the help you guys! :)
