The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi guys sorry if this is in the wrong place and admins delete if needs be.

* :delta: valuation thread not a sales thread :delta: *

I have recently decided I will sell off my 1/6th colonial marines, I have a 95% perfect drake, and a 80% perfect vas, they have all the main components and drakes muscle body is still 100% perfect even after all the time iv owned him.

Problem is I havnt a clue how much to sell for. I dont want to rip anyone off neither do I want to get ripped off myself as I do know how much they go for.

If anyone has any ideas please help.

BTW this is only a valuation thread not a sales thread.

Valuation is determined by what anyone is prepared to pay for it.

Have you tried looking at similar items on eBay?

I second the search of "completed" Auctions on the 'bay. You can search them same as any other item dating back several months.

I personally have purchased more of these than I care to admit in the last 2 years or so while customizing and accurizing. PM me if you want the minute details. For the most part they can be worth $175-$400 depending condition/completeness and alterations. To get top dollar they pretty much need to be unopened or at least 100% stock with great condition packaging. Oddly enough, any alterations or missing gear (Even those that make the figure MORE ACCURATE to the film!) drop the value quite a bit. No one seems to want someone else's pet project. Everyone wants 'new'.
