I always loved the 'fully prepared to face anything and utterly fail' look of the suits, which as the article states, clearly shows how little the Company truly understood. Of course they were of the mind that it was a wild animal that could kill a whole team, but to think of it in terms of an Earthly organism showed true two dimensional thinking. I think Ripley was better protected in the Power Loader for all it's opening than that open cage of a helmet they''re wearing. Still, it's cool that a costume design can show both the practical design elements and the fatal flawed thinking of the Company in one go. The Dog catching would have gone something like this... "Hey! I've got the head!" "Look out! TAIL!" And scene. |

They brought a cage! It really shows how naive and arrogant they were. She had warned them, and they knew the aliens wiped out a whole colony and a squad of marines. Cool costumes, though. I would love one of the metal dog catcher helmets. |
