The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

if this image from that interview is of the real thing, then the lever that people have tried to indentify is a genuine Kawasaki dogleg clutch lever, this is the underside of the lever, you can tell it's a factory one from the squared off hollow 'ball' end, the 2 small round cast marks near the pivot and the bar clamp which has the double ridge on it, also the original colour shows thru which was a very dark greyish tone, the other pic is a top view of a genuine one (it seems to have been painted badly!) note the squashed squared off ball also notice the double angle on the inside edge of the pivot mount

Actually I'd completely forgotten about that interview! The whole weekend was a bit of a blur as I remember, and I don't remember much! I only found it when I was looking something else up about the Aliens 25th anniversary.

Gunny that SG is a replica made by our very own Osmotic. It's extremely accurate though (Willie and I provided him with detailed reference material for it) so I'm sure the parts you mentioned are also what were used on the originals.
